i dont know why you guys have issues with a recording i did on normal speed. its just pathetic! when i made the recording it was running fine!

aoe3 doesnt use multithreading so i thought affinity would help.

went for a visit to my old friend/boss house to catch up and shoot the shit for lil while.

hes an aoe3 guy from day1 but got left behind rather quickly because hes like 60 years old. lol good guy though. when i joined his company a few years ago he was shocked to know i played this game and it became common talk around the office in the morning.

so after a lil bit i asked him to check on this record on his comp.

i came here and downloaded it, and guess what...........IT PLAYS FINE ON HIS COMP.

his specs are similar to mine and has a huge screen also so i dont know what you guys problem is. but this record is played by me on normal speed. i now, after using his comp to play this recording can say that it must have something to do with the maxed settings/screensize on my end and on the other end not the same resolusion which in turn could possibly make yours slow.

i shouldnt even have to explain......i made this. its normal speed and done proper. age 2 banking,54 vills. one other thing i noticed when i used his comp,his game was that my settings, like mouse movement are significantly slower because i slowed it down in the settings and his was blazing fast like ivans. i like a slower mouse pointer and its serves me well.

well the problem is it doesn't serve anyone else if it plays in slow mo (regardless of what speed to made it in). what resolution did you record it in? also maybe for booms you want to post for others try using the default settings.

Weird, I can't get it to play in normal speed no matter what I twiggle and toggle in the settings..

same. my comp isn't an epic piece of engineering, but its not bad. 2 years old, dedicated graphics, decent processor and ram... idk why it plays in slow mo but it does.

It's weird to me because I have a fairly good computer, watch recordings of proper 3v3's and they don't go slow for me, it's just ones done against computers that seem to trigger this "It goes in constant slow mo" shit, wonder what the F is up there.

It's even weirder because some games done against comps go perfectly fine for me, e.g. Tomo's and Allbinx's and such all went fine..

well josh uses a laptop mostly and im sure this has something to do with the resolution on my end.

1900x1200 is native to my widescreen and i will not lower my settings to accomodate, sorry.

well maybe til these newest cards die again lol. then ill have to lower it.

i think if you run the game, at the least 1280x1040 resolution your games should play ok. not sure though. just going on a hunch.

since when did dutch get 54 vills ???? score was nice but resource's 50k food 5k coin and wood...

spunk ye ol' novice! when thou hast 50 and ages to 4th with 4vills... I claim ownership of the original idea btw : P

that is weird. mines set to 1680X1050. maybe the res is the problem. you should try experimenting with recs in the default settings. of course you don't have to it might be a pain...
