Gendarme boxes me, i end up killing it after he killed all my wonders, then he gendarme spams me more at the front of my base. It's deccan, boomed 1950 as japan, stonecold was french. This was a 1v1 after he claimed i was noob and that andes was a spammy map. So what did he do? Deccan => french still get instant cav. Spammed it took 40 minutes for him to finally breach my base and kill me because my training times were slow (daimyo/shoguns killed). He had a really bad boom, i was ahead for 80% of treaty. Not much to look at.

I'm too scared to do 1v1. I wouldn't be able to handle being the "biggest noob here (you)".

I watched the record and wrote some things down:
-shrine placement messy
-sent reclaimed land 5% instead of sending consulate card
-France has TP, Japan has blue TP
-consulate to dutch in age II
-wonder close to river, in mortar range
-slow to send age III eco cards
-slow to build blue TP for eco tech
-consulate card never used, or at least, when it should be used, early on for cheaper consulate goodies
-initial army weak for anti-cavalry against france, obvious French strategy, so no excuse
-walls to weak on right
----treaty time ends----
-way too slow to react to enemy movements
-wrong side of walls, should always defend from inside, never chase siege cavalry boxes
